Campaign Counsel

Once the organization has made the courageous decision to pursue a campaign, we believe this is also an organizational commitment to the start of an in-depth process that has the potential to elevate mission impact, expand capacity, and profoundly shape your community.

We have orchestrated fundraising campaigns across the country to successful outcomes by helping our clients bridge the gaps between aspiration and execution. From preparing your volunteers and staff, providing donor cultivation strategies, marketing and communication strategies, tracking and more, our approaches are thoughtful and mission-focused.

Our Scope of Support Includes:

Phase 1: Campaign Readiness & Planning:

  • Campaign Materials Development

  • Internal Planning

  • Volunteer Committees & Training

Phase 2: Campaign Management:

  • Quiet Phase

  • Public Phase

  • Stewardship Phase

What this looks like:

You will be paired with a lead Solvent Group strategic consultant in addition to a team of writers and strategists backed by decades of campaign counsel and fund development experience. Campaign Readiness and Planning (Phase 1) can range anywhere from 6-15 months and Campaign Management (Phase 2) can range anywhere from 9 to 15 months. Timelines depend on a number of variables: size of campaign, planning to date, training needs, staff capacity, volunteers, major donor capacity, discipline, and your communications strategy. We will craft a timeline specific to your needs.

Solvent Clients Speak:

“When a unique opportunity arose to pitch a major corporate partner on a transformational gift, we had to seize the opportunity, even though we had only just begun working with The Solvent Group a month prior.  I asked the team if it was possible to spin-out a Case for Support in just 10 days, as we needed to give this our best shot.  Fortunately, the can-do attitude of Meghan and Anthony delivered a best-in-show product with incredible speed-to-market.  The craftsmanship of their articulation, mixed with relevant research, and modern design made the entire process a joy.
