Whether you’re setting off on the journey for the first time or refreshing your existing plan, The Solvent Group meets you where you are and moves you ahead.

Our scope of support includes a variety of services including:

What this looks like:

You will be paired with a lead Solvent Group consultant, in addition to a team of writers and strategists for a well-rounded team backed by decades of nonprofit experience. The process can range from anywhere between 4-6 months, depending on the specific scope of work and traditionally includes:

  • Initial meetings with the executive director and board chair

  • Internal review and analysis

  • Gathering extensive stakeholder feedback such as staff, board, volunteers, donors, partners and community leader

  • Summary of stakeholder feedback

  • Identification of key strategic direction topics and strategic plan focus areas

  • Facilitation of strategic direction and planning discussion

  • Creation of a new strategic plan

We will craft a timeline and cadence to meet the needs of your organization.

Solvent Clients Speak:

“The Solvent Group empowered us as an organization to move into new territory with fundraising. Their support around updating our strategic plan and creating our case for philanthropic support was excellent. Not only did they support us as an organization, but they provided guidance for me as the Executive Director, taking on a new role in fundraising.”
